Observing the urgency of addressing the needs of Minnesotans with mental illness that can be further exacerbated by inadequate insurance coverage, lack of access to qualified in‐network providers or societal attitudes that prevent people from receiving care, a coalition of public and private purchasers have released a new report that reflects voluntary responses to health plan assessments and provides changes to improve mental health parity, care delivery and outcomes for people across the state.
