New state funding proposed by Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee and approved by the Tennessee General Assembly is part of a statewide effort to prevent suicide and promote improved mental health among the state's youth. Three grantees were awarded suicide prevention grants to help prevent unnecessary deaths in this population.
