In efforts to elevate mental health and addiction‐related policy issues in conversations among presidential hopefuls, mental health and substance use advocacy groups and organizations have launched a nonpartisan educational initiative with the intention of getting leading candidates in the 2020 campaign on the record about their specific policy proposals and plans to put them into action.
