A national union representing Kaiser Permanente's mental health clinicians continues to be engaged in a years‐long battle with the health care provider over timely access to care for patients with mental illness, many of whom have to wait up to four months for appointments. As a result, approximately 4,000 staff have called for an open‐ended strike scheduled for this week.
