MD Magazine , a leading online source of physician news, conference coverage and peer‐to‐peer discussion, expands its Strategic Alliance Partnership (SAP) program with the addition of the Black Psychiatrists of America (BPA), announced Michael J. Hennessy Jr., president of MJH Associates Inc., parent company of MD Magazine . “By forming this partnership with the BPA, we look forward to helping them serve as an influence toward maintaining high professional, ethical and administrative standards in the field of psychiatry,” Hennessy said in a press release. Added Patricia A. Newton, M.D., MPH, M.A., CEO and medical director, Black Psychiatrists of America: “The Black Psychiatrists of America welcomes our strategic partnership with MD Magazine as we seek to inform and enlighten both our colleagues and consumers regarding key issues in mental disorders and emotional wellness. It is anticipated that this partnership will help facilitate the destigmatization of mental illness and disabilities for all persons in the country and globally with special emphasis on those affected from underserved population groups.”
