Dance/movement therapy remains a growing field for therapists who seek to help patients connect with their mind, body and spirit, even though that form of therapy has been around for more than 50 years, observers say. The use of movement and dance as a holistic form of therapy to support the cognitive, emotional and physical aspects of treatment plans for clients with mental health conditions is at the core of one Chicago‐based practice.
