Wind gust factors are determined from data obtained on the south shore of the Rio‐Antirio Strait, at the western entrance of the Gulf of Corinth, during the passage of frontal depressions. It was found that in this region the wind gusts decrease as the wind speed increases. The measured gust factors fall in‐between those used for structural design in the United Kingdom and those used in the United States.
