Abstract The identification of the gene for Huntington's disease (HD) has made it possible to diagnose patients with HD who present with unusual or atypical features. We describe a 41‐year‐old man whose intial manifestation of HD was dominated by the presence of motor and vocal tics and other features of Tourette's syndrome. This case illustrates the broad range of clinical manifestation of HD and the usefulness of testing for the HD mutation in selected cases with familial movement disorders.
