The possibility of carbon nanotubes (CNT) using as strengthening phase in aluminum‐matrix composite is represented in the present work both theoretically and practically. The hardness which was determined in obtained samples using Vickers method is reduced in one graph. This graph quantitively represents the increasing hardness. The mechanism of the obtained composites hardening was explained using the classical laws of hardening theory. The maximal concentration of CNT in metal matrix under the highest composite hardening was calculated.
