Calcium phosphate nanoparticles were functionalized using two polymeric additives: polyallylamine hydrochloride, PAH, giving them a positive charge, and polyacrylic acid, PAA, giving them a negative charge. These particles were deposited on surface‐functionalized polymers (polyethylene terephthalate track‐etch membranes; PET) by dip‐coating. If the charge of the nanoparticles and the charge of the polymer membrane had an opposite sign, efficient adsorption was observed, whereas on unfunctionalized polymer surfaces, no adsorption occurred.
