In this paper, optical properties of one dimensional ternary metamaterial photonic crystal structures are studied. This structure is composed as (ENG/dielectric/MNG) N with N number of layers. This paper numerically studies the transmission behavior of one dimensional ternary metamaterial structure by using well known transfer matrix method. The transmission characteristics of such structure are examined with variation of refractive index and thickness of dielectric layer. Hence, the present study supports the potential application for tunable filter applications.
