Abstract The low dielectric loss, high dielectric constant, high quality factor are the most desirable characteristics of the microwave dielectric materials. Many researchers are paying their attention to synthesize non‐lead based perovskite ceramic, due to the hazardous nature of lead based ceramics. Here, the BaNd 2− x La x Ti 3 O 10 (for x  = 0.02 and 0.04) material is synthesized by choosing the solid state reaction method, which is easy and of low cost. The synthesized material is then taken for characterization to study its dielectric properties.
