Summary The solvent assisted room temperature one pot in situ multiple oxidation reduction reaction between nitropeptide solution in ammonium hydroxide and FeCl 2 leads to the formation of Fe 3 O 4 nanocrystals stabilized by the resultant dipeptide. The Pd embedded dipeptide stabilized supramolecular nanocrystals exhibit excellent catalytic activity, magnetic recovery and reusability up to three cycles for Suzuki–Miyaura cross‐coupling reaction without significant loss of catalytic performance in aqueous media.
