Summary We previously reported a nickelladithiolene nanosheet based on a π‐conjugated hexagonal network. A liquid–liquid and a gas–liquid interfacial reaction, using benzenehexathiol and nickel(II) acetate, produced the stacked and atomically thin nanosheets, respectively ( J. Am. Chem. Soc . 2013 , 135 , 2462). Here, we report the modulation of the electronic states on the nickelladithiolene nanosheet by means of the chemical reduction and oxidation reactions. The electronic states were determined by the binding energy of the sulfur peaks in the X‐ray photoelectron spectra.
