Cover: The IUPAC International Symposium of the “Advanced Polymers for Emerging Technologies” took place in Busan, South Korea, on October 10–13, 2006 to commemorate the 30th Anniversary of the Polymer Society of Korea. The symposium was composed of two parts: “Advanced Polymers for Emerging Technologies” and “Contemporary Polymer Science and Technology.” The first volume focuses on the future‐oriented topics for emerging technologies associated with polymers, while the second part deals with the current issues of polymer industry The picture on the cover shows the location where the symposium took place.
