Different chromatographic regimes can be applied to the separation of functional polymers and oligomers: Size Exclusion Chromatography (SEC), Liquid Adsorption Chromatography (LAC), Liquid Chromatography under Critical Conditions (LCCC) and Liquid Exclusion‐Adsorption Chromatography (LEAC). All oligomers of non‐ionic surfactants can be separated to the baseline by combination of these techniques. In some cases, gradient elution is required to separate all possible homologous series.
