The synthesis of polyisobutylene‐b‐poly(ethylene oxide) linear diblock copolymers and multiarmed star‐shaped copolymers (having one‐polyisobutylene‐arm and two, three, or four, ‐poly(ethylene oxide)‐identical length arms) is described. All these different structures were characterized by MALDI‐TOF mass spectrometry and Size Exclusion Chromatography.
