A comparative evaluation of different carbon black grades was performed for polymer composites whose matrices were composed of a single polymer, or polymer blend. The electrical resistivity, rheological properties, tensile strength and morphology were evaluated. The highest conductivity level was measured for the composites with Ketjenblack EC 600 JD from Akzo Nobel.
