Ethylene or propylene polymerization was carried out by use of Me 2 Si(H 4 Ind) 2 ZrCl 2 and alumoxanes containing isobutyl group. Polymerization activity of ethylene decreased with an increase of the isobutyl group content. On the contrary, the alumoxane having isobutyl group content of about 50% gave a maximum activity for propylene polymerization.
