Abstract The polymerization of tetrahydrofuran under a living form allows quantitative functionalisation as well as the formation of copolymers. Cyclic acetal polymerization is more complex but through the “Activated‐Monomer Mechanism” approach, it is possible to prepare telechelic polymers as well as block and graft copolymers with particular emphasis concerning amphiphilic ones.
