We report on surface plasmon field—enhanced Raman imaging investigations of Langmuir—Blodgett multilayer assemblies of cadmium arachidate. This new method is a combination of Plasmon surface polariton field—enhanced Raman scattering with an optical multichannel detection scheme. The imaging capabilities of a CCD—camera are used to spatially resolve the Raman—spectral information of a heterogenous sample.
