Mixtures of latexes and aqueous solutions of CaCl 2 , NaCl and KCl have been characterized by dielectric spectrometry in the microwave domain (at 5 GHz and at room temperature). The interpretation of the data was based on the concept of mixture laws applied for low concentrations of latex (< 10% in weight) and salt (concentration < 1 mol.1 −1 ). The additivity of dielectric properties was in good agreement with that predicted using classical mixture laws.
