Helping unions organize is the purpose of a new executive order signed by President Joe Biden at the end of April. The order creates a new White House Task Force on Worker Organizing and Empowerment charged with determining how the federal government can help workers organize and bargain. In 180 days the task force is expected to make recommendations that may include new policies, programs, and practices.
