Because of disruptions caused by the pandemic, it is no surprise that 2020 saw a marked decline in successful union organizing activity. Last year, the union win rate decreased to 69.9% as compared to a win rate of 75.6% in the year before, according to data analysis from Bloomberg Law and the Bureau of National Affairs. 2020 was also the year with the fewest union representation petitions ever filed.
