Intertape Polymer Corp. (360 NLRB No. 114) won a decisive 142–97 victory in a union election. Nevertheless, after the union complained that Intertape committed unfair labor practices (ULPs) during the campaign, the Board ordered a do‐over election to be held nine months later, giving the union another nine months to try to persuade enough workers to defeat the company in the next election. The employer, meanwhile, would have to continue burning resources to campaign against the union for another nine months.
