At a White House worker summit in October 2015, President Obama urged unions and other worker advocates to “think creatively” about how they might use mobile apps and the Internet. The president specifically mentioned Coworker.org , the website that allows workers to start petitions and campaigns around workplace issues. Other work‐related platforms include Wearedynamo.org , a website for workplace complaints, and Contratados.org , a Spanish‐language platform that allows migrant workers to rate their experiences with recruiters and employers. In addition, dissatisfied workers meet up with their coworkers to talk and perhaps even organize on Facebook and other social media outlets.
