Learning From Wendy's Unlawful Handbook Rules

Recently, The Wendy's Company and the National Labor Relations Board settled the NLRB General Counsel's complaint that numerous provisions in the corporation's employee handbook were unlawful. In a public memo, the General Counsel discussed the provisions of the Wendy's handbook he believed to be unlawful and the reasons why. Employers are invited to read the provisions and decide whether their own handbooks may have similar unlawful provisions.
