The usual standard for concerted activity is that it must directly involve two or more employees who are acting jointly—that is, in concert. But this National Labor Relations Board has a very elastic standard for what is concerted and seems willing to find protected concerted activity when the facts show that the action was by a single employee without the knowledge or involvement of any coworkers.
