For several years before the National Labor Relations Board issued its “ambush election” rules, your editor, along with most knowledgeable sources, predicted that the Board's new amended election rules would very much alter the playing field for unions and employers: advantage, unions. A look at statistics from the NLRB provides incontrovertible evidence that the changed rules have made it more challenging for employers to combat a union.
