Add T‐Mobile to the growing list of companies whose employee handbooks the National Labor Relations Board has found to be unlawful. Not only were several specific provisions, which are commonplace, ruled unlawful, even the handbook's general “statement of purpose” violated employees' rights. An NLRB administrative law judge (ALJ) ruled that T‐Mobile USA Inc. must revise language in its employee handbook that restricted, or could reasonably be interpreted to restrict, employees from discussing the terms and conditions of their employment ( T‐Mobile USA, Inc. , NLRB ALJ, No. 28‐CA‐106758, 3/18/15).
