An ambush election environment gives employers much less time to make their case against a union after a petition for an election is filed. It forces companies to “time shift” their communications about unions. More of that communication needs to happen before a union ever arrives. The good news is that the better job that is done up front, the less likely a union organizer will ever gain any traction with your employees.
