Inside Cover : In article number 2100698 by Matthias Barz and co‐workers, a reactive ABC‐type triblock copolymer based on polypept(o)ide material, comprising a reactive polycysteine middle‐block structure, enables the formation of cross‐linkable polyion complex micelles to encapsulate siRNA. Beside the electrostatic interaction, cross‐linking leads to highly increased stability. Purified polyion complex micelles further serve as an effective delivery system for siRNA in vitro. Attractive interactions to stabilize the polyion complex micelles are displayed by lightnings (red: electrostatic, yellow: cross‐links). The combination of single components results in the formation of functional carrier systems (blue balls) to encapsulate siRNA (red) and deliver it into different cell types (picture from the publication, siRNA marked in red).
