In article number 2000636 by Martin D. Hager and co‐workers, novel biobased intelligent ionomers are presented. Itaconic acid derivates are utilized to synthesize different ionomers capable of self‐healing. The thermal and mechanic properties are investigated in detail utilizing differential scanning calorimetry, thermo gravimetric analysis, FT‐Raman and FT‐IR spectroscopy, and dynamic mechanical analysis. Furthermore, a detailed scratch‐healing test reveals healing efficiencies up to 99% in 2 h at 90 °C.
