Free‐standing polymer brush films with tailored thicknesses based on a colorless polydopamine thin layer (6 nm) are prepared and characterized. The film thickness is controlled between ca. 16 and 75 nm by simply changing the atom transfer radical polymerization reaction time. The results show that when the obtained film is transferred onto a plate, it exhibits a relatively smooth surface and is stable in any solvent. Further details can be found in the article by M.
