Cover: The picture on the cover shows types of phases and transitions based on their thermodynamics and molecular motion. There are five solid phases, all become mobile at their glass transitions. The crystals undergo a glass transition and disordering at the melting temperature! The mobility is caused by unfreezing of large‐amplitude motion, which in polymers is conformational motion. Further details can be found in the Feature Article by B. Wunderlich on page 1521.
