The paper deals with the oscillatory behavior of the fourth‐order linear three‐terms advanced differential equation of the formy ( 4 )( t ) + p ( t ) y ′ ( t ) + q ( t ) y ( σ ( t ) ) = 0 .Assuming that all solutions of the auxiliary third‐order differential equationz ′ ′ ′( t ) + p ( t ) z ( t ) = 0are nonoscillatory, two types of easily verifiable oscillation criteria for the studied equation are established. The obtained results are illustrated by two examples.
