We generalize the Kneser relation to multidimensional local fields and use it to obtain an explicit formula for the Hilbert pairing of multidimensional local fields directly from the definition of the pairing. (© 2007 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim)
