The existence of non‐extreme positive solutions of n th‐order quasilinear ordinary differential equations is discussed. In particular, necessary and sufficient integral conditions for the existence of non‐extreme positive solutions are established for a certain class of equations. Basic results to a classical ordinary differential equation are generalized. (© 2006 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim)
