The relation between CD w ( X )‐space and Whyburn unified space

We show that a CD w ( X )‐space is isometrically Riesz isomorphic to C ( W ) for some Whyburn unified space W with its concrete description. We apply this to prove a Banach–Stone type theorem. This generalizes one of the main result in [2]. (© 2006 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim)
