In our paper we discuss the asymptotic behaviour of a linear delay equation with nonautonomous past. Using positivity and compactness assumptions we obtain a quite complete characterization of the asymptotic behaviour. (© 2005 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim)
