Abstract We consider the Cremona transformation Φ σ : ℙ 3 … → ℙ 3 which is an extension of the famous Nagata automorphism σ on the affine 3‐space 3 . In this paper we shall factorize this Cremona transformation Φ σ explicitly into 8 elementary links according to the Sarkisov Program. (© 2005 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim)
