In this paper we construct a symbol calculus for Banach algebras generated by two idempotents and a coefficient algebra. This, combined with local principles for „embedding algebras”, leads to a symbol calculus for singular integral operators on spaces with Muckenhoupt weight and for singular integral operators with measurable coefficients.
