Necessary and sufficient conditions are given for two B anach spaces to have linearly isomorphic ultrapowers. This is done firstly by carrying over the elementary equivalence of model theory to B anach spaces, and secondly by a game‐theoretic approach basing on E hren ‐ feucht ‐F raissé games from logic.
