This investigation addresses the possibility of compatibilization in the polyolefinic ternary blends without the need for external reactive agents. A series of binary and ternary blends were prepared comprising high density polyethylene, polypropylene, and polyamide 6, in which morphological changes from core‐shell to individually disperse were assessed by experimental and theoretical approaches. The compatibilization action of polyolefinic constituents in ternary blends was also discussed based on mechanical properties assessments. In addition, the interfacial adhesion situation and stress transmission across the interphase in the blends showing core‐shell morphology was thoroughly studied.
