Abstract Summary: Novel statistical copolymers with blue fluorescence and amphiphilic groups were synthesized via the radical copolymerization of monomers NVK and OVDAC. The composition and properties of the copolymers were systematically investigated using FT‐IR, UV‐VIS, NMR, PL, DSC, and TGA. This copolymerization method yielded homogeneous random copolymers with variable composition and hence variable carrier transport properties. Besides, positively charged OVDAC groups of the copolymers made them easy to incorporate into negatively charged semiconductor nanocrystals to achieve luminescent composites. The resultant composites showed flexible processability that could be patterned through different methods.Processing route for the nanocrystal/poly(9–vinylcarbazole‐ co ‐octadecyl‐ p ‐vinylbenzyl‐dimethyl‐ammonium chloride) composite.
