Front Cover : Polarized optical microscopy images of poly(ethylene adiapate), a polyester, are shown in the cover image, before (left) and after (right) 24 hours of etching with methylamine (H 3 C–NH 2 ). Upon etching, the originally ring‐banded morphology of the polyester is disrupted into a maple leaf‐like structure and chemically changed to an N , N ′‐dimethyldiamide linkage.
