Cover: The polymerization mechanism and kinetics for the thermally‐induced polymerization of muconic esters were investigated by IR spectroscopy using single crystals under temperature control. The polymerization occurred with shrinking of the crystal lattice, as depicted in the cover picture, and the phase transition of the monomer crystals to the polymer crystals.
