Cover: The rotational dynamics of perdeuterated poly(oxyethylene) (POE) confined within nanotubes of stacked cyclodextrins were investigated using 2 H solid‐state NMR spectroscopy. The experimental 2 H NMR lineshapes are shown for some temperatures from 150 to 400 K. These lineshapes were successfully modeled as a three‐site discrete jump motion of a C 2 H bond on a cone with an opening angle of 70.5°. Such C 2 H bond reorientations result from exchange between trans, gauche + , and gauche − conformations, which can occur in nanotubes as gauche defects travel along the mostly trans POE chains. Further details can be found in the Full Paper by T. E. Girardeau, J. Leisen and H. W. Beckham * on page 998.
