The kinetics of the chemical polymerization of pyrrole by potassium hexacyanoferrate(III) in water at 0°C was studied. The order of the reaction with respect to both pyrrole and potassium hexacyanoferrate(III) was determined to be 1 and 2,6, respectively. The rate constant k of the polymerization reaction was found to be 2,25 · 10 −4 (dm 3 · mol −1 ) 2,6 · s −1 .
