The mass‐average based critical molar mass M c = 9200 g·mol −1 and the entanglement density v e = 17,0·10 19 cm −3 of poly(ethylene terephthalate) PETP were calculated for 280°C from literature data on PETP melts, using appropriate corrections for polymolecularities.
